It's more similar to a guidebook than an artbook, some pictures and texts. Nevertheless I still think this is a must have for a FF fan, I don't understand Japanese one bit but just looking at the pictures reminds me of a good time when I was playing them ! My complaint is that there're only few CGs in the books, esp. for FFVIII there're even less pages than others.There're so many scenes they can use to make it more memorable, for example; Squall and Rinoa's dancing scene
