-The first M4 was identified as Sherman I, M4A1 as Sherman II, M4A2 as Sherman III, M4A3 as Sherman IV, and most used M4A4 as Sherman V.
-In addition, 75mm gun types had no mark, 76mm gun types had A type, 105mm gun types had B type, and 17 pound gun types had C type, respectively, even with differences in armament.
-The Sherman IC is a 17 pounder for the M4 tank.
-Also, the M4A3 Sherman IV is sent for reference only and is not used in battle, and the B-type 76 mm gun type is almost not used in the British.
-The 17 pounder was the only one to confront the German heavy tank as a British trump card.
