-It is a guide for the completely new mold 1/48 Piercecchi HUP-1 / HUP-2 helicopter from MIC brand of Micromill.
-The HUP-1 / -2 is a tandem rotor type general purpose helicopter equipped with a single-engine star engine developed by the American Piercec Helicopter Company, and the HUP-2 is the first mass-produced helicopter equipped with an autopilot.
-The XHJP-1, which was prototyped in response to a request from the U.S. Navy to develop a small-scale general-purpose / rescue helicopter in 1945, was mass-produced as the HUP-1, and then the engine was changed to the Continental R-975-42 star engine. HUP-2 was developed.
-The US Army changed the specification which replaced the engine of HUP-2 and operated it as H-25A Mule.
-The HUP-2 was renamed UH-25B in 1962 and operated by the US Navy until 1964.
-This kit comes with etching parts, paint mask seal, resin parts such as engine part, and 3 kinds of decals (HUP-2 x 1 for US Navy, H-25A x 2 for US Army).
-When completed, the rotor diameter will be about 210 mm and the fuselage will be about 361 mm in total length.
