-The Meitetsu 7700 series was introduced in 1973 as a branch line limited express for the 7000 series panorama car. It has a single door and continuous windows that are common with the panorama car, but the front is a penetration type.
-4-car fixed formation and 2-car fixed formation appeared, but in 1991 all formations were made into white belts for exclusive use of limited express and 2-car fixed formation.
-The intermediate car that was out of formation was incorporated into the 7000 series panorama car and played an active role.
-After retiring from limited express operation, Scarlet was once again in color and he played an active role mainly on the Mikawa Line until retirement.
