--This is a guide to the completely new mold kit 1/72 F4F-4 Wildcat [Expert Set] from Alma Hobby in Poland.
--Since the previous series such as F4F-3 have fixed wings, it is difficult to handle on the aircraft carrier, and from the lessons learned from the Battle of the Coral Sea, the U.S. military wants to increase the number of fighters installed on the aircraft carrier. Because of the speculation, those problems were solved with the F4F-4, which adopted folding wings and was able to mount five F4F-3s with a width of two.
--The engine is equipped with the same Pratt & Whitney R1830` Twin Wasp` as the F4F-3.
--The F4F-4 was deployed as [Martlet II] in the British Fleet Air Arm, and was also active in battles with the German Air Force such as the North African Campaign.
--The kit includes etched parts, painted mask stickers, and 10 types of Techmod decals (US Army x 9, British Fleet Air Arm x 1).
-Also, for F4F-4 / Martlet II, cowlings with different shapes are attached.
――When completed, the total length will be about 122 mm and the total width will be about 161 mm.
