[Actual vehicle guide]
- The E1 Series Shinkansen was introduced in 1994 and is Japan's first all-car double-decker Shinkansen vehicle nicknamed Max.
-From November 2003, the painting has changed significantly from the conventional paint, and it is dressed in white and dark blue similar to E2 series, and the pink band that imaged the crested ibis is arranged on the coloring line.
-Even after the paint change, it was active on the Joetsu Shinkansen for a long time, but operation ended in October 2012.
