[About the actual machine]
- The A-12 Avenger II is a new attack aircraft that was developed in response to the ATA program, an advanced technology attack aircraft program proposed by the US Navy in 1983.
- It was planned as a carrier-based attack aircraft with high stealth capabilities that would further evolve the stealth technology that had first been put into practical use with the F-117 Nighthawk.
- The aircraft's distinctive shape was a triangular planform, and it was designed as a complete flying wing without any tail fins.
- The wingtips were also designed to be foldable in order to accommodate carrier-based use.
- All weapons were stored in a weapon bay, which was designed to accommodate a variety of weapons depending on the mission.
- Due to rising costs and the post-Cold War mood of arms control, the development plan was cancelled in 1991 by then-Secretary of Defense Cheney.
- The actual aircraft never took to the skies.

[About the model]
- This is a fictional airplane model that is newly added to Rocket Models' Fist of War series, which is based on fictional themes such as "what if," and adds its own unique interpretation and speculation to create something.
- This model is based on the A-12 Avenger II, a stealth attack aircraft developed based on the ATA (Advanced Technology Attack Aircraft) program implemented by the US military in the 1980s.
- Scale: 1/48. The aircraft accurately reproduces the shape of a full delta-shaped flying wing.
- The wings can be assembled in the folded position as shown in the plan, and the refueling probe on the top of the left side of the cockpit can be assembled in the deployed position.
- The tandem layout two-seat cockpit has been faithfully recreated with detailed interior detail. The underside of the aircraft features a bomb bay, air-to-air missile bay, and even landing gear doors that can be opened or closed, so you won't want to miss out on the interior reproduction.
- The markings are based on the image of the 31st Fighter Attack Squadron `Tomcatters` aircraft, which are assumed to have been deployed in reality.
