- This is a 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the Type 97 medium tank developed by the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II.
- Slide molds are used for each part to pursue ease of assembly as well as the shape.
- The lower body parts are made using a slide mold and are assembled as one piece, ensuring reliable assembly.
- The details on the underside of the vehicle are also well represented.
- In addition to the delicate finish of the suspension, road wheels, and drive wheels, the tracks use partially assembled NEO tracks.
- The unique suspension mechanism of the Type 97 is recreated in detail with each component reproduced using a slide mold for the spring parts.
- The unique shape of the upper body is molded in one piece using a three-way slide mold.
- The engine deck ventilator cover is also a separate part with a delicate finish.
- The rear plate and rear fender, which are separate parts, are also molded using a slide mold, and the shape and rivets are faithfully reproduced.
- The asymmetrical turret is modeled in one piece down to the fine details using a four-way slide mold.
