[About the actual car]
- This vehicle is a 50-ton mobile machine manufactured by Niigata Iron Works in 1981 for use in shunting operations at the oil terminal adjacent to Negishi Station.
- The vehicle is 12m long and weighs 50t.
- It is fitted with bogies similar to those of the JNR DD16 type.
- Operations at Negishi ended in April 2024.

[About the model]
- This is a paper kit that is mainly made up of laser-cut hard paper.
- The cab has asymmetrical droopy windows, the blue body and the distinctive bonnet of one eye are reproduced.
- The delicate handrails, release levers, radiator grille and side window frames are reproduced by etching.
- The edge of the bonnet where the headlights are recessed and the air tank between the bogie are 3D printed parts.
