[About the actual car]
- Iro 163 is a 1st and 2nd class combined car among [Model Iro 150], which is slightly longer in overall length and has many windows. Ten cars were produced at Niigata Works in 1896.
In 1914, some were downgraded to Ro (163, 168-171) or Roha (166, 167 → 861, 862).

[About the model]
- This is a paper kit that mainly consists of laser-cut parts made of hard paper.
- Buffers, brake cylinders and other small parts that are difficult to reproduce on paper are available as 3D printed parts.
- The included decals include two types: the old notation from Meiji 30 to Meiji 43, and the new notation from Meiji 43.
- Also included are grade band masking sheets and bearing reinforcement parts.

*We take great care in our manufacturing, but there may be some areas that are not laser cut properly. In that case, please make a cut with a utility knife or similar to fix it.
