- One of the Big Seven ships, the second Nagato-class battleship [Mutsu], is now available with new parts added!

- The product is based on the appearance of the second Nagato-class battleship, Mutsu, from December 1941 (at the start of the war) to June 1943 (at the end).

- Newly designed parts are available to standardize the differences in the reproduction of equipment, etc. depending on the product release date, and some parts are divided to take painting into consideration.
The 12.7cm twin anti-aircraft gun Type A is divided into 5 parts, with improved modeling resolution compared to the existing 2-part model.
・The 9m cutter is made into two parts for painting, and the stand is available as a separate part, or you can choose to have it molded as a single piece with the deck (with some exceptions).
・The canvas, wheelhouse and engine room canopy of the 11m motorboat are made into separate parts for painting purposes. Each part is painted first, and then assembled and glued later.
-The 12-meter internally fired launch can now be depicted in its shape without the canvas.
- The shipboard stand has been molded to recreate the uneven shape and light holes, giving it a more precise appearance.
-A new chrysanthemum crest has been added to the bow.
- New port lights have been added to add expression to areas that were previously omitted.
- Added decals showing the ship name at the stern (painted in naval colors) and the white lines on the mast.
The Type 96 25mm twin machine gun comes standard with a two-part design that reduces the amount of painting/painting work required.

- Ship
-The hull is a one-piece molded part on both the starboard and port sides.
- This is a part exclusive to Mutsu, recreating the fairlead and anchor viewing platform in a different position than the Nagato.
- The sides of the ship are detailed with intricately carved exterior electrical wiring that runs around the entire hull.

- Each deck
-The upper deck is a single piece of wood with delicate carvings.
- The air intake pipes on the deck are expressed with sharp carvings, and the wooden deck is carved to a depth that is suitable for lining.
- The bridge base (bridge deck) is made into a single part using a slide mold.

- Bridge and mast
The secondary gun reserve command post, which distinguishes it from the lead ship, Nagato, is recreated with four windows using special parts.
-The lower bridge is a one-piece part made using a slide mold.
-The bridge is constructed by stacking each layer and assembling it, and the floor is replicated with grating.
- Each floor of the bridge features detailed equipment, including a binocular telescope.
- The mast tripod is divided into two parts to reproduce the external shape.
- The cross tree and top yard are recreated using a combination of integrated and separate parts to recreate their complex shapes.

- Main gun turret and chimney
- The main gun barrel and canvas are one unit, and the elevation and depression angle is fixed.
- The main gun barrel is open thanks to the use of a slide mold.
-The chimney has a two-part structure with the left and right parts glued together, and the steam exhaust pipe is a separate part.
-The funnel cap has a precise structure even when removed.

- Aft mast and aviation equipment
- The aircraft work deck is made using a slide mold, and the deck side walls and their shapes are also reproduced.
- Two Type 95 seaplanes are included as carrier-based floatplanes, molded in gray.

- The strip patterns on the floor of the anti-aircraft gun emplacements and other areas are expressed with intricate carvings.
The 25mm machine gun is a two-part model with precise molding and a structure that makes it easy to paint, and the 2018 molded parts are included as standard.
- The main parts, bottom plate, aircraft carrier, machine gun parts, etc. are molded in gray.

- Two types of decals included
-Decals including naval ensigns, the Japanese flag, and carrier-based aircraft markings.
- Navy flags are available in three sizes. 1/700 scale versions of the actual sizes of 10cm, 6cm, and 3cm are included.
- Includes the Hinomaru flag used on aircraft carriers, friendly identification bands (yellow bands), etc., and the Hinomaru flag also includes the one without the white border from the later period of the war.
- Decals including draft markings, the chrysanthemum crest on the bow, and the ship's name on the stern (in two colors: gold and solid in naval colors).
