──Specially painted trains operated from 1984 to 1987 and the original trains

- The Odakyu 8000 series is a 20m 4-door vehicle manufactured between 1982 and 1987 exclusively for use on the Odakyu Line's grounds, and is a general-purpose vehicle that can be used for everything from local trains to rapid express trains.
- Of these, the 4-car 8052 and 6-car 8257 trains were delivered as "event cars" with a special paint job featuring an orange, yellow, and brown pattern on a white body.
- It began commercial operation in April of the same year, and initially had a "Running Gallery" headmark, but in July of the same year it was renamed "Pocket."
- In 1987, the train was repainted in standard paint and this paint scheme has since disappeared.
