Product Description
[About the actual car]
This wooden bogie train was manufactured between 1909 and 1919 to replace the two-axle trains on the Chuo Line and Yamanote Line.
This kit recreates the building's appearance after renovation work carried out in the mid-Taisho period.
It has a 16m-class body and was widely used on the Chuo Line and Yamanote Line in Tokyo.
From around 1925, some of the lines were transferred to private railways, including Meguro-Kamata Electric Railway, Tsurumi Rinko Railway, Joshin Dentetsu, Ome Electric Railway, and Fuji Sanroku Railway.
The remaining cars were removed from the grid and used as trailer or control cars, sandwiched between old national railway cars, until after the war.
If you want to recreate the appearance from the early Showa period onwards, please use the additional step parts (3-030).
Deha 6285 is currently preserved at the Omiya Railway Museum, and Deha 6310 is still fresh in our memory as it appeared in the movie 'Totto-chan: The Little Girl at the Window' as a classroom for converting trains.
