Godzilla emerged from a rock that flew into the crater of Mount Fuji and engaged in battle with Anguirus, who had rushed to the scene.
Although Godzilla overpowers Anguirus with overwhelming strength, the battle leaves him with a wound in his right arm, exposing an unfamiliar metal underneath.
He later appears again at the oil refinery, only to find that another Godzilla has appeared there!
Thus began the unprecedented "Godzilla vs. Godzilla."
However, as the battle progresses, the former Godzilla begins to have metal exposed all over his body... and finally the fake Godzilla reveals his true identity.
It was Mechagodzilla, a robot weapon whose entire body was made of space metal.
The Toho Giant Monster Series recreates the charm of the Fake Godzilla to the fullest.
Please pay attention to the different feel from Godzilla, such as the head, the way the dorsal fin bulges, and the way the fingers are extended, which is somewhat reminiscent of the real Mechagodzilla.
The metal parts peeking out from under the skin are the most distinctive feature that represents the character of the Fake Godzilla.
By attaching cover parts that resemble skin to the metal parts, it is possible to recreate a variety of situations, such as when no metal is exposed, when the right arm is injured in the fight with Anguirus, and when more of the metal is exposed in the fight with Godzilla.
