Kiha52 is a rail diesel car produced from 1958 by Japanese National Railways.
Specifications change was performed after No. 100 produced from 1962.
It was made for a pike with many inclines, but a junk car is advanced now.

This model reproduced the Kiha52 used in Morioka area of JR East.
It points at coloring becoming two-tone of cinnabar red 4 and cream 4 with the standard color of a rail diesel car for Japanese National Railways in Japan.
This color matches the Japanese local scenery of the Showa era well.

Kiha52-149 was restored in this standard color in October, 2001 and won popularity.
It retired itself by service of November 24, 2007 last.
