[About actual car]
- [Crystal Express] appeared in 1989 as JR Hokkaido's Joyful Train based on Kiha 183 series.
- Initially, it was a 3-car train, but later a double-decker model Kisaroha 182 was added to make it a 4-car train, and it continued to be active until 2019.

[About the model]
- Mainly made using brass material
- The front part is made of lost wax, and the body is made of brass press processing.
- Underfloor equipment made of white metal

- Interior light: Pea interior light (Chip LED type, exclusive product)
- Headlight/Taillight: ON
- Coupling: pea telescopic coupler
