- Since the 1990s, the SD Gundam manga series by Masahiro Kanda has been serialized in Kodansha's children's manga magazines Deluxe Bonbon and Comic Bonbon. The SD Commando Senki series was published between 1991 and 1993. This work depicts the stories of the following three works in the SD Gundam product lineup:

This time, with the cooperation of Kanda-sensei, we will be republishing the [SD Commando Senki] series in three volumes.

*The final chapter, [New Gundam Force Great Pankration], was not published in book form when it was first announced, so this is the first time it has been included in a book.

- The format of this series is a wide, easy-to-read A5 version. The original manuscripts kept by Kanda-sensei will be reprinted and the book will be published in beautiful, unprecedented quality.

- In addition, at the end of the "New Gundam Force Great Pankration" arc, we plan to add a new page drawn by Kanda-sensei. We plan to restore the depictions that were regrettably deleted due to page limit restrictions at the time of serialization, and to complete the story to bring it closer to the development that Kanda-sensei had originally envisioned.
