[Product Introduction]
The DD13 was the first mass-produced diesel locomotive for shunting developed by Japanese National Railways.
Over a period of nine years from 1958, 416 cars were added.
They are broadly divided into early and late models, and have distinct characteristics in their appearance and bogies.
They contributed to the smokeless and modernization of marshalling yards across the country, and were mainly used for shunting in yards all over the country, as well as pulling freight trains on short distances, but they also pulled passenger trains on overnight local trains (Hayatama) and on some lines (Suigun Line, Shimizu Port Line, Amagasaki Port Line, Wadamisaki Line).
Just like the real thing, the model can be used for shunting operations, as well as freight trains, passenger trains, and mixed trains running short distances.
Combined with a minimum passing radius of R150, it is ideal for operation in small layouts and small spaces.

[Product Features]
This model reproduces the configuration of the 14th and 15th series (No. 203 to 264) manufactured between 1964 and 1966, and the non-multiple-unit type of the high-horsepower group around 1975.
Reproduces the characteristics of the later model with a modern appearance equipped with two-lamp shield beam and wing spring type bogie
Realistic reproduction of the increased capacity fuel tank and the associated repositioned air reservoir.
Signal flare and whistle are already installed. H-rubber is gray colored.
