[Commentary]
- A representative form of passenger cars after the war, in which 698 were manufactured between 1956 and 1970. With two rows of ceiling lights and improvements to the seat backs, they appeared with equipment suitable for long distances. However, the majority of it remodeled and changed to Oha 46, Oh 47, etc. and remained as Suha 43 is only about a third.
- Although it does not change on the appearance, 160 lightweight self-made weights made in Showa 29 and 30 are incorporated into Oha 47.
- Oha 47 is a form in which the weight is reduced by replacing the dolly with the TR 23.
- Suha 45 is a double window car for Hokkaido.
