- The engine of the first production type F - 14A was P & W made TF30, but in F - 14B it was replaced with GE made F110 - GE - 400.
- A further improved version of F - 14D digitally replaced the radar fire control system, the detection distance increased and the processing speed increased.
- Final version of the F - 14D series produced 55 aircraft, deployed troops in 1992.
