-Itzhak Shubinski, who launched a car company with a brand of 1957 [Sabra], but did not have knowledge of car manufacturing, so he signed a cooperation agreement with British car maker Reliant.
-The Reliant Roadster was released under the name Saber, and the same Israeli version was sold under the name Sabra Sport.
-What stands out is the deeply drawn front nose with its distinctive shaped deep front light.
-The car was first unveiled at the New York Auto Show in 1961 and was manufactured in the summer of the same year.
-However, the hopes and expectations for the Roadster's success were lacking.
-Only 379 units were produced from [Sabra] and discontinued in 1968.
