-Gabriel Voisin was a C3 sport type and entered the lower class race in the ACF Grand Prix held at Duppigheim near Strasbourg on July 16, 1922.
-Only 6 Peugeot and 4 Voisin were on the start line, so it seemed that the prize was enough.
-However, it was found that the Voisin race car did not meet the race regulations, and it was in danger of being able to participate.
-The rules required a minimum body width of 130 cm and a Voisin race car was only 90 cm.
-Gabriel thought the rules were ridiculous and did not want to change the radical slim design, but he wanted to participate in the race and decided to install aero parts on both sides of the body as a solution. This wisdom allowed us to meet the rules without significantly changing the car design.

-Four drivers Rougier, Duray, Gaudermann and Piccioni were on the starting line to fight Peugeot in a Voisin race car.
