[Introduction]
-In January 2007, JR East introduced the new diesel train, the Kiha E130 series.
-There are 13 cabs for both cab types, KIHA E130 and 13 cabs for single cab type, 13 units each, for a total of 39 units on the Mizugun Line.
-The body is made of lightweight stainless steel based on the E231 series, and has a body cross section with a maximum width of 2900 mm with a hem throttle.
-The door is a double door with 3 places on each side, and steps were taken to reduce the level difference with the platform.
-The front is made of FRP and has a through door.
-The Kiha E131 and Kiha E132 are decorated with a green symbol color that reflects the image of fresh green, and have become a customer door and a yellow belt on all sides.
-During the expansion, it worked as a hybrid with the Kiha 110 series, but by September 2007, the Mizugori line was unified to all Kiha E130 series cars.
