--Japan's first eight locomotives manufactured in 1924 as a collaboration between English Electric Co., Ltd. and North British Locomotive Company in the United Kingdom for the opening of electrification between Tokyo and Kokufutsu on the Tokaido Main Line approaching 1925 (Taisho 14). It is an F type electric locomotive.
――Initially, it was called 8000 type, but in 1928 it was renamed to EF50 type. It was completely abolished in 1958.

――The 8000 type has undergone many modifications after commissioning, and its appearance varies from time to time.
――Initially, it was a three-stage ventilator on the side, with no runboat, no drainer, wiring for the deck edge and end plate, and a jumper plug, and with a buffer.
――It was later remodeled into a 4-stage ventilator to improve ventilation.

――This kit is a prototype 3-stage ventilator type before modification.
――The kit can be changed to the specifications after self-replacement by replacing the end beam.
