[About the actual vehicle]
--Kumor 145 and Kuru 144 are new performance distribution vehicles manufactured by remodeling 101 series trains. It replaced the aging distribution train that had been used before the war. Vehicles assigned to the Tokyo metropolitan area had ATC installed in addition to ATS so that they could be operated in each line section.
--For some of JR West's Kumol 145 type, the traction motor was changed from MT46A (100kW) to MT52 (120kW), and the car number became the original number +1000. (Kuru 144 type remains the original number)
--The appearance is H rubber black. The model has the markings printed on it, and it is Kumol 145-1015 and Kuru 144-15, which are still located at the Kyoto branch of the Fukida General Vehicle Office.
