[Actual vehicle guide]
-The E231 series is a vehicle introduced by JR East since 2000 as a vehicle for commuting and suburbs. Operation started from Sobu Line and Utsunomiya/Takasaki Line
-The Yamanote Line was introduced in 2002 as the 500th generation with 11-car formation
-At the beginning of the appearance, Car 7 and Car 10 were connected to a 6-door car, but since 2010 it has been replaced with a newly-made 4-door car.
-In 2017, the successor E235 series appeared on the Yamanote Line, then it was recombined into a 10-car train and transferred to each station of the Chuo/Sobu Line, at which time the body color of the car was changed from Uguisu to Yellow.
