--A wealthy woman, Escher Abeg, wanted to own Rolls-Royce in the 1920s and 30s and ordered the Phantom II from a factory in England.
--The purchase price of a model with a body made by London body maker specialist Slap & Maybury was CHF 34,000.
――But ten years later, she was forced to expropriate and had to give up a British luxury car.

--March 1940 An advertisement was published in the Swiss newspaper Neue Zürcher Zeitung, and the car was handed over to the Lenzburg fire brigade. -Royce was transferred for CHF 2,500.
--In order to "fit" the Rolls-Royce into a new use-firefighting-, the station commissioned a local body maker [Carosserie fabrik Berner & Co] in Huntzenschville to remodel without hesitation.
――The body maker succeeded in maintaining the basic 4-door design by remodeling the rear area into a box structure.
--A ladder bracket has been attached to the roof and two blue emergency lights have been added as part of the new fire brigade's equipment.
--In January 1941, the remodeling was completed and ready to be painted with the characteristic red paint of the fire engine.
--The painting was done by Eugen Haemmerlie's [Auto-Spritz Paint Shop] in Lenzburg.

--The Rolls-Royce was based in the Lenzburg Fire Department and was active until 1961.
――The special British car is still owned by the Lenzburg Fire Department and is lovingly maintained and cherished.
