[Actual vehicle guide]
-The E217 series is a suburban train that was introduced in 1994 based on the 209 series as a replacement for the 113 series on the Yokosuka/Sobu Rapid Line.
- Two double-decker green cars are connected to the 11-car basic formation.
-In the 8th car, which was added in 1999, the side windows of the long seat car became the same as the 209 series 500 series, and in the 4-car train, the production of the Kuha E216 type 1000 series was resumed and formed. Incorporated.
- Since 2007, the color of the band on the car body has been renewed in line with the implementation of equipment update work such as underfloor equipment.
- The skirt of the leading car has also been replaced with a reinforced one.
