- The EC40 type electric machine after being scrapped by JNR will be transferred to Keifuku Electric Railway and will be released as an N gauge finished product after undergoing refurbishment.
- The car body with one side of the bonnet cut off to create a new deck, the underbody with the Abt mechanism removed, and the front and rear snow plows are features that are very different from the EC40.
