- The actual vehicle is available in all five colors, and KATO will commercialize green first.
- We will commercialize the K17 formation painted in the E653 series revival color green.
- It is a suitable vehicle to run alongside the vehicles active in JR East and as a collection in the future in 5 colors.

- Commercialization of K17 formation belonging to Katsuta Vehicle Center
- Reproduce the revival painting inspired by E653 series [Fresh Hitachi] (green)
- Reproduce different symbol marks for each formation (green: Kasumigaura and Hobikisen)
- Reproduce the insulators and high-voltage equipment around the pantographs unique to AC/DC trains, the train radio antenna on the roof, and the WiMAX antenna (some parts may have different shapes because they are reusing conventional products)
- The front and side windows are made of green tinted glass, just like the actual vehicle.
- Adopts a slotless motor for smoother and quieter running.
- The intermediate connection part is equipped with a body-mounted KATO coupler and inter-body damper as standard equipment.
