Product Description

- Scale 1/80 16.5mm gauge metal railway model
- JNR Kumoya 495 series/JR Tokai Kumoya 193 series 50 series total kit

[About the actual vehicle]
- The JNR Kumoya 495 series was manufactured in 1966 as an overhead line test vehicle for both alternating and direct use.
- Although it is based on the body of an express train, it has a low roof with no hem drawers, and, together with the non-penetrating curved three-paned window in the front, it has a unique exterior that is unlike any other.
- After the privatization of Japan National Railways, it was taken over by JR Tokai, the AC equipment was removed, and the model was changed to the Kumoya 193 series 50 series as a DC-only machine, and it remained active until 1998.

-A kit will also be released in conjunction with the finished product produced this time.
- A total kit that includes underfloor equipment, power, etc.
- The equipment on the roof and the train radio antenna are different between the JNR specification and the JR specification due to the conversion to DC.

[Product Specifications]
- Mainly made using brass materials
- The car body is made using brass press processing.
- Underfloor equipment is made of white metal + lost wax
- Headlight/taillight: LED included
- Trolley: DT-37X (newly created)
- Pantograph: PS-16B (manufactured by IMON)
- Power: Equipped with Canon EN-22 + Φ10.5mm gray wheels + WB26mm MP gear
- Others: wiper and car number inscription set
