The nine countries included are the UK, the US, France, the USSR, Germany, Italy, Japan, Hungary and Finland.
The paint examples cover 104 different types of vehicles, including 25 tanks and assault guns.
Each illustration is based on a three-dimensional drawing of a vehicle, with a specific unit and vehicle number identified, and precisely depicts the camouflage paint pattern, markings, paint color, and texture.
In addition, the book is packed with columns covering the vehicle's history, its distinctive equipment, the uniforms of the crew, and more, and even introduces the history of tank development and the national characteristics of the countries that used them.
