Product Description

──In 2020, to commemorate the 9th anniversary of the birth of [Keikyun], an 8-car train with a wrapping train and a vehicle mark compatible with platform doors will be produced.

- The Keikyu 1500 series is a three-door vehicle with double doors that was manufactured from 1985 onwards as a successor to the 1000 series, which was used on subway lines.
- When it was first manufactured, the body was made of steel, but was later changed to an aluminum body in a minor change.
- The control method is field chopper control, but from the vehicles added in 1990 the control method has changed to VVVF inverter control.
- From around 2001, skirts were installed and the body was renovated, and from around 2016 the front type and destination displays were changed to full-color LEDs.
- Keikyun is the mascot character of Keikyu Railways, created on the first anniversary of the opening of Haneda Airport Terminal 3 Station.
- From October 11th to December 6th, 2020, a wrapped train commemorating the 9th anniversary of Keikyun's birth was decorated and operated on the 1500 series 1521 train.

- Headlights (warm white), taillights, front type and destination indicators (white), and passing indicator lights (warm white) are on.
- Passing indicator lights can be turned on or off using the switch on the light unit board.
- Equipped with a coreless motor power unit with flywheel (No. 50776)
- Long seat parts with car ends are installed
