[About the actual machine]
- The Macchi MC.205 Veltro was developed to further improve the performance of the Macchi MC.202 Folgore, which was considered one of the best fighter planes developed by Italy during World War II.
- Before World War II, Macchi developed the MC.200 in line with the R program, which aimed to modernize the Air Force's aircraft.
- Developed as an evolution of the MC.205, it was equipped with a liquid-cooled inverted V-type engine from Daimler-Benz of Germany, DB601A-1, which produced over 1,000 horsepower, demonstrating superior performance.
- The MC.205 Veltro was created with the aim of continuing to improve performance.
- The engine is the RA1050RC.58 Tifo, a licensed production of the Daimler-Benz supercharged DB605 engine that produces 1,475 horsepower.
- Deployed to all lines in 1943, it was said to be the best Italian fighter plane during the war and was very active.

- This is a plastic model assembly kit that recreates the Macchi MC.205 Veltro, one of the best Italian fighter planes of World War II.
- Supplementary Japanese translation of the instructions is also included.
- The scale is 1/32, and the number of parts is over 200, recreating the famous Italian aircraft in detail. The finished overall length is 276mm.
- The aircraft design, overflowing with a sense of speed, is reproduced with the level of detail that only a 1/32 big scale can provide, from panel lines to rivets and other fine details.
- The differences from the MC.202 Folgore, which has already been modeled and has received high praise from modelers, are faithfully reproduced by adding special parts.
- The RA1050RC.58 Tifa engine in the nose is reproduced from ancillary equipment to the engine support frame.
- The cockpit, machine guns, and even the legs and leg wells are realistically and mechanically modeled.
- In addition, etching parts are also available to produce a sharp finish, and the cockpit meters are three-dimensional 3D decals.
- In addition to the aircraft markings, large decals are provided which also reproduce the unique camouflage pattern.
