──[ACE] with its nostalgic color scheme seen from its launch until its renewal

- The Kintetsu 22000 Series ACE was introduced in 1992 as a new generation of express train.
- While following the elegant interior design of the 21000 series [Urban Liner] and 26000 series [Sakura Liner], the seat structure has been completely redesigned and barrier-free facilities have been introduced. In addition, plug doors have been adopted, bolsterless bogies have been introduced, and VVVF inverter control has been introduced. Everything from the interior and exterior design to the vehicle performance has been designed under a design philosophy that sets it apart from previous Kintetsu limited express vehicles.
- Renovation work began in November 2015, and by 2019 a smoking room was installed and the train was painted in the new Kintetsu general express train colors.
