[Product Introduction]
- The D51 was the most produced locomotive by JNR and JR, and was used throughout the country due to its performance that allowed it to be operated on low-standard lines (Otsu lines).
- This type of train is synonymous with steam locomotives and is still affectionately known as "Degoichi."
- They were used as the main locomotives on non-electrified sections from before the war until the mid-Showa period, and a major feature of these locomotives is that they are equipped with a variety of equipment at each locomotive depot across the country, reflecting the climate and operating conditions, resulting in different expressions despite being the same model.

- This product is manufactured in the standard basic form of the D51, and can be enjoyed as is.
- In addition, by using the separately sold 〈7-104 (HO)D51 Upgrade Parts Set〉 you can improve the details and create individual differences.
- In addition, we are currently planning to develop makeup parts sets that will allow you to recreate the characteristics of each region and line.

[Product Features]
- This is a commercialized version of the standard mass-produced model for warm climates and flat areas from the 1970s. It reproduces the standard appearance of the warm climate cab, including a deflector with an inspection window, no snowplow, and no round window on the front.
- Reproduces the specifications after removing the steam exhaust pipe cover next to the boiler
- Smoke box door handle is selectable. Two types are included: standard two-lever type and cross type.
- The three-dimensional frame, realistic black-finished driving wheels and wheels, and detailed, sturdy rods realistically and accurately reproduce the dynamic running gear of a steam locomotive in both appearance and running.
- Headlights are on. LP403 model is reproduced. Rear lights are reproduced as LP42 model (not lit).
- In addition to the standard 250W turbine type, the generator is also equipped with a 150W type for ATS generation. Exhaust pipe already installed.
- The tender bogie has a distinctive end beam that can be seen from the very end. Also, the ATS on-board unit and brake equipment mounted between the bogies are reproduced.
- The power unit is equipped with a coreless motor, allowing for stable driving.

- By using the separately sold 〈7-104 (HO)D51 Upgrade Parts Set〉, you can choose and install detail-up parts such as handrails, signal lights, and snowplows, as well as district nameplates, manufacturing nameplates, and various other markings.
