Product Description
[About the actual car]
This type of train was mass-produced from 1923 onwards, in response to factors such as increased transportation capacity following the Great Kanto Earthquake.
It can be said to be a representative form of wooden train.
This model had a strong sense of unified beauty, with the design of both the motor cars and the trailer cars being strongly standardized, with the door positions being aligned between the motor cars and the trailer cars, and the interior layout being the same even at the dimensional level.
However, after the Great Kanto Earthquake, cars such as Deha 43200, Deha Uni 43850 and Saha 43550 were also modified and incorporated into this train, resulting in a very diverse model.
Also, the units manufactured in the first year had a unique look, with narrow doors for some reason.
When the cars were redesignated in 1928, DeHa 63100 was incorporated into MoHa 10 and SaHa 33550 into SaHa 26.
Some of them continued to serve until after the war.
