[About the actual car]
The Semovente is a self-propelled gun developed by the Italian army in response to the success of the German Stug III during World War II.
Based on the chassis of the Carlo Armato main battle tank, which was officially introduced in 1939 and continued to be improved upon, the upper part of the vehicle with the swivel turret was removed and a new fixed fighting compartment was installed in its place.
An assault gun was developed that was equipped with a 75mm da75/18 howitzer as its main gun.
Vehicles using Carlo Armato's M13/40 chassis were standardized as M40 da 75/18.
It was not only effective as an infantry support vehicle but also in anti-tank combat, so in order to enhance its capabilities, the M42 da 75/34 was developed, equipped with a 75mm tank gun.
It was deployed from 1943.

[About the model]
This model is a plastic model assembly kit that reproduces in 1/35 scale the Semovente M42 da 75/34, an Italian self-propelled gun that was active in World War II.
The finished overall length is 144mm. The style of the fixed fighting compartment equipped with a long barrel is realistically reproduced.
The gun barrel is made of metal parts, and the rivet patterns on various parts of the vehicle are recreated in detail, adding to the realism of the finished product.
The lower part of the vehicle is a box type. The driver's seat, transmission, and the inside of the fighting compartment are also modeled.
Hatches on the top of the fighting compartment can be assembled either open or closed. Great care has been taken with the interior finishing.
The tracks use a belt system that is easy to assemble.
The precisely reproduced suspension creates a mechanical finish.
Includes 6 types of markings.
