Overall it's not a bad kit but it does need some putty work and PLENTY of weight in the nose area.

Awesome Fine Molds model.

A Yamato Fan
The best 1/700 Yamato in the market. While it is arguably comparable to Tamiya's, this edition adds a lower hull and a great PE set.

The kit has several downsides:
-No single AA mounts (Yamato has 8 in 1945)
-The triple AA mounts are not good.
-Sink holes on the triple AA dome and blast bags.

I also recommend Fujimi's Kongo full-hull DX. It is a smaller batteship, but it has the best molding in this scale I've seen.

Kenneth Yeo
A beautifully moulded kit of an iconic WW2 vehicle. The parts detail is really amazing and worth the time spent to build it. Coupled with the fact that you can also replicate the personal transport of a well-known German flying ace and you have a winner here. I will give it a 5 stars rating!

Bought one of these to use with my figma.
It was a big deception because of the quality of the plastic. It breaks when you assemble the different parts betwen them. Some parts don't fit even if I sand the tips.
I don't recommand it.

I am the Copy-Editor for Freedom Model Kits and wish to make the following announcement and clarification.
The X-47B kit has selectable options as standard in this kit. The wings can be folded, the air brakes can be shown open or closed and the flaps can be shown retracted or stowed.
This is a very large model kit and has two decal options but includes sufficient decals to allow "what-if" modellers with options.
Two new tooled GBU-31 JDAMs are also included.

Looks like a very nice kit,let down by some innacuracies such as the Laser Guided Bombs & Matra Magic misiles are not used by the RAF or out of service such as the SNEB rocket pod,not to mention the wrong weapon pylons as well,so you'd either have to buy aftermarket weapons or dog rob from the Airfix kit.

Very nice and complete decals, printed in Japan but thin as aftermarket ones, perfect fitting of all parts, no putty required,

The kit is over engineered and somewhat difficult to build. The tracks are too hard to bent around the road wheels. I think individual links would have been easier.

I finished the Kongo a few days ago and it was one of the most enjoyable kits I have built. All you need is a wooden deck and you will have a stunning model when you have finished. I also added a railings set but even without them it looks and builds great. See my completed model on Model Shipwrights under warreni.

This one is disappointing - I always paid the premium price for outstanding quality. The quality of this kit is of a Tamiya 70th kit. Extremly soft features, weapons are in my view unusable. The rifle has almost no features. I was in shock and thought first of a mis-production but when checking reviews I saw the same issues in pictures. The idea is great but what happened here?? Is this still Dragon? (Actually also the Rommel set has some of these issues too - even in a much less extend).

Kit builds up beautifully, molding is superb and has many very fine details. so far no filler required anywhere... 2 nice features are that optional parts are provided to allow the gun mounting to move in 2 axis as it was on the real tank, and the track tensioners can be made functional to allow you to adjust track tension. highly recommended kit.

Enjoyed building even purchased long tom to go with m4 tractor. One problem is
parts on trees with no place to go such as PE #4, B#19, A#20-21,D#2, and C#54.
It would be nice to know that they are not used instead of spending about 2 hrs. going
over and over the instructions trying to locate these items.

The model so far has been easy to build; parts quality is excellent, fit is excellent. My only question is the look of the bow. Some pictures have the typical "ram" bow of the type. This looks a bit different.

Kit looks great with excellent fine crisp detail. It is a little lacking in some obvious detail parts such as Port side antenna posts. Instructions are very poor with no color references and very vague instructions on
what holes to open on fuselage etc for attaching parts.
The rotor blade in fold option instructions are very poor. Decals look good and I'm sure it will make up a great model if you can figure out instructions or should I say lack of instructions..

The Nichimo Ki-45 is a very nice kit. It may not be as complex and detailed as the new
Hasegawa Ki-45, but for the price it is nicely detailed and the were no significant issues
with the fit of the parts. I enjoyed building this kit and would recommend it. If you wish
spend twice as much - buy the Hasegawa kit.

I found the Nichimo Ki-51 Sonia kit a pleasure to build. Given it's age there were no significant fit issues. Again considering it's age I found the overall the detail to be very good, especially in the cockpit. I really enjoyed building the KI-51 and definetly can recommend it.

Trumpeter attempts an accurate model and the exterior IS beautiful but the errors in the driveline are too many to list. Also the rendering of the transmission and the transfer case in the model leave a lot to be desired. Photo of one of my scratch built gearboxes is attached. Two such gearboxes are required to correct this model. The model will also require a main driveshaft running the length of the vehicle.

Just recieved this kit in a trade Seems to be well molded in a dark green.Has an actual engine, but hood not designed to open.. however the hood sides could be left off to show it Fair detail for a forgien kit.. Chart to translate color callouts could be better. All in all a fair kit of an unusual truckCould be converted to a civilian truck fairly easily.

It is a nice re-release of the item. The package is in reference with the latest movie
related to the Hayabusa probe, not the first movie made in 2010. It is a tiny detailed
model; but it will look nice in display with other 1:32 spacecraft models from Revell.

Make good platform to start due to simplification of many parts and lack of a few elements - sometimes elementary, ex. rear and side seats, glass window for opened frond shield..
Model present mix of details of many vehicles/versions of m.1954 BTR-40.
Generaly fine kit.

I have the ROG issue of this kit , it is terrible. Parts don't fit well, the two top halves of the fuselage are the stuff of nightmares, main wheels are from a tractor and the intakes and exhaust areas have little to no detail and the exhaust petals are taken from the YF-22! Lots of scratchbuilding (don't waste money on aftermarket, except for wheels they are a must) sanding, dry fitting, modifying kit parts and did I mention sanding? Do all this and you can end up with a passable kit.

I hoped for such a kit for a long time. When I started 1/35 models, there was only tamiya T-62 for Soviet block modelling. Now it's different. Cool kit with a good detail level. Hope we'll have figures soon.

The disappointing aspect of this model is that there is a lot of electrical wiring to install and all the instruction is in Japanese. You should seriously consider adding ENGLISH (international language) translations for difficult models like this. I rated "easy to build" as 1 because I cannot complete the model due to no english instructions.

This is the most accurate USS-Enterprise available in kit form and is much more detailed than the Tamiya 1/350 scale kit. The aircraft sets are good for thier time and a beautiful model can be built from this kit. Highly recommended.

This model IS NOT the USS UNITED STATES. It is a cheap rendition of the Frigate USS UNITED STATES. The frigate had a poop deck on her stern throughout her existance. Revelle manufactured a 1:96 model With the poop deck. This is a cheap rendition to miss-represent the frigate to the unknowing public. Withdraw this model from the shelf. Get your money back.

As with all the TASCA M4s! It's a really nice model! In fact the model represents a "refurbished" M4A1 that had all the features added of the so-called "blitz program".
It means the applique armor, M34A1 mantlet, travel lock and mounting strip for the sand shields. I'm not so impressed with the attaching straps of the OVM pioneer tools!
But that's a marginal criticism only. Otherwise an outstanding model.

only error I have founf is that when you want to build the nasa bird, de kit is not correct. NASA has the previous version, shehas shorter wings ( approx 6m) and and a shorter fuselage approx 1m. No failings on the wings; and an extension of the wings at their root .
