[About the actual vehicle]
--The M4 Self-propelled Mortar (M4 MMC: Mortar Motor Carriage) is a vehicle based on the body of the M2 half-track, and about 500 vehicles were produced in the early stages of the war.
--The rear crew room of the M2 half-track was equipped with 81mm mortars and mortar ammunition, and each ammunition storage box was equipped with a total of 96 mortar ammunition.
