[About the actual machine]
- Super Etendard is a carrier-based attack aircraft that began combat deployment in 1978 and was operated on French Navy aircraft carriers.
- It is a successor to Dassault Breguet's carrier-based attack aircraft, Etendard IVM, developed in the 1960s, and was born as an improved and advanced version.
- The single-engine, single-seat aircraft is a small aircraft with a total length of 14.3m and a total width of 9.6m, and is equipped with one more powerful Snecma Attar 8K50 turbojet engine.
