[About actual vehicle]
- Numerous fighting vehicles were created during the Second World War, but there were also many cases in which the vehicle in line with the situation at the site was rapidly built on the front line.
- A vehicle with a 15 cm sIG 33 grenade cannon on a chassis of III tank and made self-propelled grenade gun is one of them.
- In the German African corps with the desert zone as the main battlefield, many field guns to be operated were not suitable for movement by towing and self-propelled gunning was considered.
- 15 cm sIG 33 was active as a main infantry gun of the German army through World War II.
