- Refurbished the supersonic training machine T - 2, and became a substantial prototype of the F - 1 support fighter after that is FS - T 2 reform (T - 2 special specification machine).
- Various equipment necessary for the fighter aircraft is mounted on the rear seat part, and a metallic cover is attached inside the canopy of the rear seat.
- Test flight began in 1975 with the two-body system of T-2 mass production Unit 2 No. 106 refurbished and No. 106 from Unit 3.
- Even after the F - 1 support fighter aircraft was formulated, it was operated at the flight development experiment team of Gifu base and left a big footprint in Japan aircraft development.
