[Vehicle introduction]
-[Byu Coaster Windokko] is a `truck train for railroad cars` with the concept of [Journey with the Wind].
-Remodeled in 2000 at Niigata Iron Works, using Kiha 48-547 and 1541 as seed vehicles.
-A large opening is provided on the side of the vehicle, and glass and decorative handrails are installed at the bottom for security.
-In addition, when driving in the winter, it is characterized by being equipped with an acrylic insertion window in the opening.
-Located in Koushida Transport Zone, it is active mainly in event trains.
-Loaned to JR Hokkaido in the summer of 2019 for the purpose of promoting sightseeing, the [Kazeko Soya] was driven on the Soya Main Line and became a big topic.
