Product Description

-USS Salem CA-139 is the second U.S. Navy heavy cruiser of the Des Moines class.
-Construction started in July 1945, named in March 1947, launched and commissioned in May 1949.
-With its main gun equipped with the world's first self-loading device that uses cased charge, the ship has gone through training exercises and rescue missions mainly in Europe after commissioning.
-Retired in January 1959 without experiencing any actual battles, and preserved in Mossball, and since October 1994 has been shown as a museum ship in Quincy, Massachusetts.

-This kit is a full hull model that combines delicate details with a large scale that is powerful.
-Overall length when completed: approx. 62.6cm
