[About the actual machine]
- Developed by American Boeing. Successful first flight in 1961.
- Since then, it is a masterpiece helicopter that has been adopted around the world and operated in more than 20 countries.
- The engine is equipped with two T-55-K712 turboshaft engines. It adopts a tandem arrangement in which the rotor blades with three rotor blades are laid out in front and behind the aircraft.
- The fuselage has a square box-shaped design, and when the rear hatch is open, it becomes a slope-like scaffold, and vehicles can use it to enter and exit by self-propelled.
- The large fuselage can carry up to 55 people when carrying only personnel.
- It is also possible to suspend and transport vehicles and artillery by connecting ropes etc. to the hooks at the bottom of the fuselage.
- Its high transport capacity allows it to play an active role in multiple purposes and is operated in many countries.
- CH-47J is operated by the Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force among many variations.

[About the model]
- A 1/72 scale completed model of the CH-47J Chinook helicopter operated by the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force.
-The combination of parts such as die-cast and ABS gives a heavy finish and sharp details.
- Not only the form, but also the details are realistically modeled with a total length of about 40 cm and a torso length of about 20 cm.
- Also, the lamp at the rear of the fuselage can be opened and closed. The inside of the fuselage is also well reproduced.
-Furthermore, the cockpit that can be seen from the canopy is fully reproduced.
-In addition, the engine is also reproduced, giving it a mechanical finish.
-The markings on this model reproduce the aircraft of the 105th Squadron of the 1st Helicopter Group at Camp Kisarazu of the Ground Self-Defense Force.
-In addition, a background board is set and a window box with a painted resin base equipped with the image of the inside of the hangar is included. I'm looking forward to displaying it as is.
