--The Gearing-class destroyer is the class of a US Navy destroyer.
-It is an improved version of the Fletcher-class destroyer, Allen M. Sumner-class, with enhanced cruising performance, and the final development of the Fletcher-class.
――Commissioned in March 1945, initially 152 ships were planned to be built, but only 98 were produced due to the end of World War II.
――Most of the ships were commissioned after the war, and were enrolled in the US Navy while undergoing renovations until the 1970s.
――Since then, it has been widely provided and sold to Western countries, and the last ship was retired in 2014.
