[Actual vehicle guide]
- Series 215 is a DC suburban train that appeared in 1992. -The same series was developed as a vehicle with a two-story structure, with the purpose of operating it mainly as a [Shonan Liner] in the morning and evening, and increasing the number of seats as much as possible to increase the number of seated commuters. The same type is a 10-car train, and only the first car Kumoha 215 type has an equipment room on the first floor, and a pantograph is mounted on the roof on the end side of the car.
-The same series, which produced 4 trains, was active on some special trains such as [Shonan Liner], [Acty], and Holiday Rapid, but ended its operation in 2021.
