--This is a new 1/72 scale full resin kit from the Hungarian SBS model.
--The M.39 is a seaplane manufactured by Aermacchi of Italy in 1926 as a dedicated Schneider Trophy race machine.
――In 1925, Macchi entered the race with a Macchi M.33 flying boat that adopted a monoplane format with the aim of reducing air resistance, but the result ended in 3rd place.
――Therefore, Macchi decided to aim for the entry of the Schneider Trophy with a seaplane-style aircraft that imitated the American Curtiss R3C-2 that won the victory at that time.
――Italian made all-out efforts to prevent the United States from winning the championship for the third time in a row, but although it adopted the seaplane style, the main wing was a monoplane type following the previous work.
--M.39 has been humiliated by winning the Schneider Trophy Race in Virginia, USA in 1926.
