[Vehicle commentary]
- In January 1999, the BNR34 type GT-R was launched at the [Tokyo Auto Salon], a tuning car and custom car festival that was already gaining worldwide popularity at the time, just like its predecessor, the BCNR33.
- 4-wheel multi-link suspension, RB26DETT type engine, ATTESA E-TS type 4-wheel drive system, etc. were inherited from the BNR32 type of the previous generation, but they were thoroughly brushed up.
- And the most noticeable thing about the BNR34 was the BCNR33, which was the predecessor of the bloated BCNR33.
